Yeterday, my good friend Robin and I went to try and see "Sexual Dependency" a Bolivian film currently playing as part of PIFF (Portland International Film Festival). As I am sometimes not the most detail-orented person, I got the time wrong, and we showed up 1/2 hour late. We walked to Fox tower to see what was playing, and got there just in time for the 5:30 showing of "Touching the Void". As I had just recieved a high recommendation to see this from John (who has impeccible taste in film), I suggested we take it in. I think Robin was a bit unsure at first, but once it started, we both realized that this was on it's way to becomming an amazingly shot film about an amazing story of survival.
